Many Boxing pundits are predicting a huge future for the light-heavyweight, Anthony Yarde.

The 26-year-old, made a defence of his WBO European and intercontinental belts on Saturday, at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, in London.

Matched against Tony Averlant, Yarde registered an impressive victory to make it 15 fights unbeaten.

Yarde took control of the fight from the start and sent Averlant to the canvas in the sixth round with a big body-shot.

Averlant managed to survive and came out for the seventh round. However, with Yarde inflicting some punishment, Averlant?s corner decided to pull their man out at the end of the seventh round, retiring him on his stool.

Talking to the media afterwards, Yarde had this to say about his future,

‘We’re looking at the belts like they’re meat and we all want a feast.?

It remains to be seen how quickly Yarde can get a title shot.
