On the Wembley under-card of the Groves v Rebrasse fight, the Yafai brothers were in action.

Kal and Gamai, both looking to make quick progress in the professional ranks, both managed to record victories but in vastly different manners.

Kal had the easier nights work stopping his opponent Herald Molina inside two rounds. In beating the Nicaraguan, Kal added the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Super Flyweight belt to his Commonwealth title. The fight wasn?t much of a match with Kal having his opponent on the canvas twice before ending the fight with a superb left hand.

Gemal on the other hand was matched against a super-tough opponent in Sofiane Bellahcene and although Gamal often had far better of the exchanges his opponent had a chin made of granite and just wouldn?t go down.

Unfortunately, Gemal picked up a bicep injury that might see him out of action for longer than he?d have expected to be at this stage of his career.
