As Anthony Joshua prepares to fight this Saturday, taking on Denis Bakhtov at the O2 Arena, Eddie Hearn has come up with a fight he believes would excite the country.
Talking about his exciting heavyweight prospect, Hearn has remarked,
?In the world of boxing and particularly in this country, a fight between David Haye and Anthony Joshua in 2015 is a stadium event,?
?It?s a huge, huge fight with massive potential. If he wants to win world titles, these are the guys [Haye, Price, Chisora and Fury] ? he has got to demolish on the way and I?m sure that he will demolish these guys as well. I don?t think anything is going to stop him.?
Is Hearn being serious?
Firstly I can?t see David Haye wanting to, or, needing to take on the young prospect and, following what happened in the build-up to the proposed David Haye v Tyson Fury fights, would Hearn be prepared to waste valuable career time against an opponent that could be described as fragile when it comes to injuries?
Would It Make Sense to Take Haye On?
