The draw has been made for the inaugural World Super Series quarter-finals.

In what is a new concept, eight fighters, in two different weight divisions, are in a knockout contest whereby the organisers are adamant the tournament will change the world of boxing.

Up for grabs in each division, super-middleweight and cruiserweight, is a share of the $50 million prize and the Muhammad Ali trophy.

The draw, held in Monte Carlo, resulted in the following fights being set to take place:

Super-middleweight

? George Groves v Jamie Cox

? Callum Smith v Erik Skoglund

? Chris Eubank Jr/Arthur Abraham v Avni Yildirim

? Jurgen Brahmer v Rob Brant

Cruiserweight

? Oleksandr Usyk v Marco Huck

? Murat Gassiev v Krzysztof Wlodarczyk

? Mairis Briedis v Mike Perez

? Yunier Dorticos v Dmitry Kudryashov

If any of the fighters embarking on the quest to win the tournament, enter as a holder of a world title belt, then those belts will be up for grabs in the relevant fight.

It promises to be an interesting concept, bring it on is what we say!
