We?re still yet to hear whether Wladimir Klitschko will be taking up the re-match option he had in his fight contract with Anthony Joshua.

After the thriller the pair were involved in at Wembley, in front of 90,000 spectators and millions watching around the globe, a re-match would certainly be received well.

Klitschko, although the older fighter, used all his experience to take Anthony Joshua into areas of the sport he?d not been to before.

After resting up following the fight, Wladimir has spoken to the social media network about losing the fight and has spoken rather eloquently as well when he remarks,

‘I never thought I would say such a thing, but: in defeat, I achieved much greater success than I would have had I won.

‘The responses that I received and continue to receive after this night of boxing are overwhelming.

‘I now understand that success does not necessarily mean achieving a set goal. Instead, success means achieving the best possible result. Sometimes we cannot see beforehand what the best possible result might be.’

Are they the words of a fighter he fancies a re-match or the words of a fighter that knows he achieved so much respect even though he lost?

I?ll let you decide.
