As Tyson Fury awaits his fight with the WBO world heavyweight title fight with Wladimir Klitschko, it has been confirmed that the current IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO champion will definitely be fighting on 25th April 2015.

Klitschko has signed to fight at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York and will be putting his titles on the line against one of two opponents, either Bryant Jennings or Shannon Briggs.

Jennings has a respectable record of 19-0 with 10 wins coming by way of knockout and is the preferred opponent, however if the fight cannot be made then Klitschko will take on the aging Briggs who has a record that reads 57-6-1 with 50 coming by way of knockout.

Klitschko, with a record of 63-3 with 53 by way of knockout, will be making his 18th title defence. Looking at the opposition put in front of him on 25th April, one suspects that the fight with Tyson Fury could be his 19th title defence.
