On Friday we reported how Junior Witter was hoping to grab a European title.

With the 41-year-old on the comeback trail, having two wins under his belt, Witter was hoping to do the business against the current EBU-EU welterweight title holder Ahmed El Mousaoui.

Unfortunately it was not to be with Witter losing a close points decision in Alpes-Maritimes in France.

For Witter, who now has a record that reads 43-8-2, this could be the end of the road but for the victor, El Mousaoui, who now has a record that reads 22-1-1, this could be his time to move his career up a level.
