Junior Witter, the original switch hitter, makes a return to the ring tonight!

The Sheffield fighter who hasn?t fought since he lost his British title to Frankie Gavin, at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, back in 2012, will be taking on Ahmed El Moussaoui for the European welterweight title.

At 41-years of age it remains to be seen if Witter can recover any of the form he once showed when he became the WBC light welterweight champion by beating DeMarcus Corley in 2006.

Witter went on to defend that title on two occasions before losing it to the US fighter Timothy Bradley.

Still fighting out of the Wincobank gym, Witter will have it all to do in Le Cannet to beat the defending champion, if he wins no doubt he?ll be full of beans but if he loses it surely must be the end of his long career.

Those wanting to see the fight can view it on Eurosport tonight.
