Back in April, when Anthony Joshua became the darling of the heavyweight division, stopping an ageing Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder was an entertaining part of the ringside action, working for Sky Sports.

Since that wonderful night, talk has been ramped up with regards to Wilder and Joshua meeting in a unification fight.

But, almost like a game of poker, neither camp seems prepared to show all their cards just yet.

This Saturday night, with Joshua looking to add Joseph Parker?s WBO belt to his collection at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, it was thought that Wilder would be at ringside, doing his utmost to goad Joshua into taking the fight the world sees.

However, despite the offer of a free flight, that may not be the case, with it being suggested he?s snubbing any offer from Sky Sports to work on the fight, a ruse that has prompted Barry Hearn to remark,

?If he doesn?t come, he doesn?t want the fight, it?s as simple as that.?

I can?t see Wilder missing the chance to show his face for this one, can you?
