With Tyson Fury patiently waiting for his chance, as the WBO mandatory challenger to take on Wladimir Klitschko, could the IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO champion be set to disappoint Fury, for now?

The reason we ask the question is that Wladimir, now in the twilight of his career, is keeping a watchful eye on what might be the most lucrative route to retirement.

Fighting in New York tonight, where the Ukrainian fighter will be taking on the unbeaten US fighter, Bryant Jennings, Wladimir has hinted that instead of fighting Fury, next time out, he?d quite fancy taking on the unbeaten US WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

With Wilder having injected new life into the heavyweight scene and on the road to becoming a US sporting sensation, Wladimir appears to believe that a pay-per-view fight between himself and Wilder would be a huge money-spinner.

However, the wily champion is also acutely aware that a bout with Fury, also unbeaten would be a huge fight in Europe.

I wonder which way this one will swing!
