Tonight, in Meadowbank, Gary Cornish is looking to make history.
The 33-year-old heavyweight takes on Sam Sexton hoping to become Scotland?s first heavyweight champion.
The British heavyweight belt is currently vacant.
Cornish has had 25 professional fights and the only blemish on his record is when he was stopped by Anthony Joshua back in 2015 as Joshua stormed towards a date with destiny and a heavyweight title fight.
Sexton is also an experienced fighter, also 33-years-of-age, he is a former Commonwealth heavyweight champion and has won 23 of his 26 fights.
On the under-card of the promotion, there?s also an interesting fight with another Scottish fighter, Stephen Simons fighting for the vacant IBF European belt when he faces Simon Barclay who heralds from England.
Will History Be Made Tonight?
