Is an opportunity about to come Martin Murray?s way?
It has been announced today that the BO super-middleweight champion, Arthur Abraham, is set to make the fifth defence of his tile on November 21st.
Abraham, as seems to be the norm these days, will be defending his title in Germany, this time at the TUI Arena in Hanover.
At the time of writing no opponent has been named for this fifth defence.
But with Abraham having tangled, twice, with Paul Smith, could this be the chance for Martin Murray to make a fourth attempt at winning a world title?
Murray, who has moved up from middleweight to super-middleweight after losing in a world middleweight title fight to Genady Golovkin, being stopped late on, has had a steady start as a super-middleweight.
With Abraham looking to keep active, there is a chance that Murray could be his next opponent although Abraham may be wary of taking on a taller guy who has been unlucky in his three world title fights in his career and who is able to soak up punishment and dish some out.
Here at Vital Boxing we?re hoping that Abraham does choose Murray, it could be the defining moment in Murray?s career.
Will Abraham Choose Murray?
