The unsavoury incident whereby Nick Blackwell climbed back into the ring, after that terrible night whereby he was placed into an induced coma after fighting Chris Eubank Jnr, continues to generate column inches.

In carrying out an investigation into the incident the British Boxing Board of Control decreed that the trainer involved in the sparring session, Liam Wilkins, would have his licence withdrawn, whilst the boxer involved, Hasan Karkadi, would be banned for six months.

With the dust now settled on the decisions made by the BBBoC, Karkadi has decided to accept the decision of the BBBoC.

However, Wilkins has decided to appeal again the ban.

It remains to be seen what happens next.
