The seeds, courtesy of both Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua winning in recent weeks, for the unification bout the world is waiting for.

A clash between Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua would decide once and for all who is the best heavyweight in the world.

Although we expect putting the fight together could be a complicated affair, with the politics of boxing what it is, it seems that Wilder, who has a record that reads 39-0 with 38 wins coming by way of knockout, is desperate to get Joshua into the ring.

Talking to BBC Sport, Wilder, in his usual brash manner, has remarked,

‘Packing out stadiums looks good but the money and Mecca of boxing is in America.

‘But if you want to stay at home like a little girl, this king has no problem travelling to knock out the champion.’

That?s the gauntlet well and truly thrown down.

But Wilder has more to say, suggesting Eddie Hearn is ?brainwashing;? the British public as too how good Joshua is, with the WBC champion further remarking,

‘I think Eddie is ducking me more so than Joshua.

?If Joshua’s a strong champion, a true champion, you guys in England should smoke him out, make him fight. You should see if he’s the best.?

All in good time Deontay, all in good time!
