Tonight, at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, Deontay Wilder will be making a defence of his WBC heavyweight world title.

Wilder should have been taking on Luis Ortiz but the Cuban failed a drugs test and his place has been taken by Bermane Stiverne.

Today, the weigh-in took place ahead of the bout.

Wilder, who has a record that reads 38-0 with 37 wins coming by way of the big KO, took to the scales and weighed 220.7 pounds.

Stiverne, who has a record that reads 25-2-1 with 21 wins coming by knockout, weighed in at 254.75 pounds.

The duo exchanged several words when going eye-to-eye but Wilder looked to be in far better shape than the bloated looking Stiverne.

As for the purses the fighters will be receiving, Wilder will pocket $1.4 million whilst Stiverne will collect $506,250.

Remind me again, how much did Eddie Hearn offer the Bronze Bomber to take on Dillian Whyte?
