The 17th January is a date already ringed in my diary.

As well as being the wife?s birthday, it is the date I fully expect America to take a firm hand on one of the many heavyweight titles and find itself with a new boxing hero.

The #1 WBC contender, Deontay Wilder who has racked up a record that reads 32-0 with all 32 opponents being knocked out, faces the current WBC champion, Bermane Stiverne at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Although Stiverne has a respectable record that reads 24-1-1 with 21 wins coming by way of knockout, Wilder has threatened to blow the champion away with a devastating display of power.

In fact Wilder has already decided that Stiverne is going to be flattened in round two with the extremely heavy-handed puncher remarking in the media,

?This is going to be a knockout. I predict a second round knockout but I guarantee that it?s not going past four,?

?I guarantee you that. The thing about it is that I?m the most dangerous when I have something personal against you. Now I really want to hurt you.?

Bring it on is what I say!
