In less than two weeks the WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, will make the first defence of his heavyweight crown.
The US heavyweight, looking to become a legend in America after finally bringing a version of the heavyweight title back to the US, will be facing the hard hitting challenger Eric Molina.
Molina enters the ring with a record that reads 23-2 with 17 coming by way of knockout, whereas Wilder has an almost perfect record of 33-0 with 32 coming by way of knockout.
In taking the WBC heavyweight title off of Bermane Stiverne, Wilder broke his right hand but is confident that he is now 100 per cent, remarking about the hand,
?My hand is fine. We tested it yesterday for 10-ounce gloves because that?s the competition weight.
?We put it on and I felt great. It gave me even more confidence. I?m ready to get in the ring and do what I have to do and perform for my people.??
As the fight draws nearer, we?ll endeavour to bring you all the latest news.
