After his one round demolition of the over-matched Australian fighter, Mark De Mori, it remains to be seen who David Haye will fight next when he returns to the ring on May 21st.

One fighter who would like to take on the former two-weight world champion is the Brixton heavyweight Dillian Whyte.

Although Whyte was knocked out in his last fight, against Anthony Joshua, he did his stock in the heavyweight division no harm after he had Joshua in serious trouble, with a left hook, in the second round.

However, it seems that the shoulder injury Whyte picked up before the Joshua bout and aggravated it further during the fight, will prevent Whyte from taking on Haye on May 21st.

Talking about fighting Haye, Whyte has remarked,

?There was a poll online and I won the poll to fight him next,?

?If my shoulder was good, I?d definitely get in there and fight him on the 21st of May. 100 per cent because I?m all about the big fights.’

Haye v Whyte would be an interesting proposition, however the feeling in the trade is that Haye has a list of potential opponents that is said to include:-

– Malik Scott
– Bryant Jennings

and

– Andrey Fedosov.

Don’t be too surprised if it’s the last name on that list that Haye tackles next!
