There were hopes, with the money being offered, Deontay Wilder might actually agree to fight Dillian Whyte.

However, it doesn?t look as if it is going to happen.

Instead, the Brixton fighter, so it seems, is set to take on the rugged Aussie heavyweight, Lucas ?Big Daddy? Browne at the O2 Arena, in London.

But whilst there has been no official announcement from Eddie Hearn, the verbal exchanges between the two fighters, on social network sites, suggests the two will come face-to-face on 24 March.

Whyte, who has a record that reads 22-1 with 16 wins coming by way of knockout, has remarked,

?Finally I get to smash up the tattooed [expletive] Lucas Browne on 24th March at the O2 @eddieHearn. I really am looking forward to it. #WhyteBrowne.?

Whilst Browne, who has a record that reads 25-0 with 22 wins coming by knockout, has remarked,

?There?s a few things to sort out first, like a contract for starters, but I?m looking forward to seeing Dillian Whyte all tangled up again. #sleepingonthejob.?

It, to me, appears a decent match-up, let?s hope it happens.
