After his six-round demolition of a very limited Lucas Browne, on Saturday evening, Dillian Whyte took great pleasure in calling Deontay Wilder out.
Now whether Wilder would be prepared to offer Whyte a crack at his crown remains a debatable subject.
The brash American didn?t seem too interested when Eddie Hearn offered him a best-ever purse to face the Brixton heavyweight.
Talking to the media after, quite probably, the best performance of his career, Whyte had this to say about the heavyweight division,
?If I beat Wilder, I will be the WBC champion and then face Joshua, who holds the other belts.
?It would be the first time two British heavyweights have unified the division ? it would be massive.?
It would, but could the plan fall at the first hurdle?
Only time will tell.
