After putting in a gallant effort in his grudge fight against Anthony Joshua, with a damaged shoulder, Dillian Whyte did enough to suggest he could have a future in the higher echelons of heavyweight boxing.

Now fully fit after having his damaged shoulder operated on, Whyte is on the comeback trail and will be appearing on the under-card of the June 25th promotion that sees Anthony Joshua defend his recently acquired IBF heavyweight title at the O2 Arena, in London, against Dominic Breazeale.

Whyte has been matched against the French fighter Cyril Leonet. The fight will be over six rounds on a bill that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Pay-Per-View.

Leonet?s record suggests that Whyte should win with the Frenchman?s record reading 10-8-2 with 3 wins coming by knockout. Whyte will enter the ring with a record that reads 16-1 with 13 of those wins coming by knockout.

Personally, I reckon Whyte will blow Leonet away inside three rounds as he attempts to get another bout, somewhere down the line against his old foe Anthony Joshua.
