A decision of where and who will promote the IBF super-middleweight fight between James DeGale and Andre Dirrell should soon become apparent.

With the IBF having ordered the fight to go to purse bids after no one party could reach a successful conclusion to negotiations, the fight destination could be decided by whom, out of Eddie Hearn and Al Haymon, made the highest offer.

Speculation, in the last few days, has suggested that both management teams attempted a co-ordinated campaign to agree a deal but failed.

It appears that Hearne wants to stage the bout on the show he has lined up at the O2 Arena, in London which will see Lee Selby take on Evgeny for the IBF featherweight title and also the ring return of Anthony Joshua.

However, Haymon remained adamant that the fight should be staged in the United States.

Keep those fingers crossed that the Hearn camp get their way, it could make DeGale?s chances of winning a version of the world title a whole lot easier.
