With the huge mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao drawing closer by the day, boxing fans in the UK wait for confirmation as to how we can watch it.

The fight to show the bout in the UK is a straight fight between Sky Sports and Frank Warren.

Sky Sports would obviously like to show the bout on their Box Office facility whilst Warren wants the clash for his pretty decent BoxNation satellite show.

The grapevine suggests that Sky Sports believed they were leading the race having been invited into Mayweather?s gym before the press conference yesterday.

However, Warren, so we?re told, has been in negotiations with the required parties and could take the show due to his on-going commitment to broadcast shows, from the US, featuring American fighters.

The crux of the matter is that whoever gets the broadcasting rights will have to add a further £12 million to the ever-growing cash pot.

If it is Sky then a figure in excess of £20 is being quoted whilst BoxNation are, so we?re told, working on a new package to entice additional subscribers to the channel.

May the best man win!
