Following his successful defence against Petr Petrov, in Manchester, it remains to be seen who Terry Flanagan will be matched with next.
With a professional record that reads 33-0, Flanagan will be looking to take on the best the division has to offer in big-money fights.
Talk in the trade is suggesting that one possible opponent could be Vasyl Lomachenko, a Ukrainian who is already a two-weight world champion and could be possibly looking to move up to lightweight.
Another option being discussed is that of Jorge Linares, the Venezuelan who is a regular visitor to these shores having beaten Anthony Crolla (twice) and Kevin Mitchell.
A third option being mentioned is that of a fight with his school-friend Anthony Crolla, although with Crolla having lost his title to Linares, the talk is that Flanagan doesn?t see what Crolla would, apart from rivalry, bring to the table.
As soon as we have any news on a possible opponent, we?ll endeavour to report back.
What Next for Flanagan?
