For fans of Amir Khan 2015 has been a disappointing year.

The Bolton fighter has fought just the once and attempts to get that big fight Khan craves see further away than ever.

Touted as a possible opponent for Floyd Mayweather Juniors last ever fight Khan was ignored by the American?s camp as they opted to take a far from memorable last fight against Andre Berto.

In recent weeks Khan has been talking about getting into the ring with his former stable-mate, Manny Pacquiao, in what would also be a huge tear-up.

But once again Khan has been thwarted with Pacquiao signing to fight Timothy Bradley, for a third time, in Las Vegas on April 9th.

Having failed to secure the big-fight again, it appears that the American?s and Bob Arum in particular, aren?t sure that Khan would generate the magnitude of pay-per-view figures the American?s demand with Arum quoted as having remarked about Amir,

‘He has a spotty record, hasn’t done great ratings.

?Why would we feel he’d do well on pay-per-view?’

So what?s next for Amir Khan as his options look to be running out?
