Tonight, over in Moscow (yawn, yawn) Wladimir Klitschko makes another defence of his heavyweight titles.

The 37 year-old Ukrainian, a boxer who is to be admired but one who, unfortunately, bores me rigid, will be taking on Alexander Povetkin.

On paper the fight has all the credentials needed to label it as an intriguing contest but, as most of us know, Wladimir will box behind that jab, keeping his opponent at bay, wearing him down and then having his arm raised aloft again.

Perhaps the best of the action has already taken place, by that I mean the splendid verbal insults aimed, by Wladimir, at our won David Haye and Dereck Chisora with the Ukrainian remarking about the pair,

?Povetkin is very respectful, very calm.?

?There is no controversy like with Haye and Chisora. Barking dogs never bite and Povetkin is not a barking dog.?

An absolutely superb put down and one to be remembered!
