This Saturday, over in the US, the WBC world heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, climbs back in to the ring to make a defence of his world title.
Wilder has been out of action after having arm and hand surgery but is looking to grab the media headlines when he takes on Gerald Washington.
However, Washington who is unbeaten as a professional with a record that reads 18-0-1 with 12 wins coming by knockout, has ideas of his own and is looking to snatch the title from Wilder who has a record that reads 37-0 with 36 wins coming by way of knockout.
Washington is ready to shock the world and has quoted Ali in the pre-fight build up with the challenger remarking,
?I?m ready to shock the world.
?Muhammad Ali beat Sonny Liston on February 25 to capture the heavyweight championship of the world, and it?s my turn to do the same.?
And as for the future, if he is successful on Saturday night, Washington fancies a fight against our very own Anthony Joshua, remarking,
?I would love to, to be a real world champion.
?I would love to go to the UK and fight in a stadium. I played in the LA Coliseum in front of 93,000 people so I know what it is to be in front of those people. But I know those guys are getting ready to make their move over here. Anthony Joshua wants to fight in the States.?
Can Washington shock the world?
I can?t see it myself, can you?
