Frank Warren has certainly pulled out all the stops for his promotion at the Manchester Velodrome on Saturday 11th July.

As well as winning the right to stage the top of the bill fight between Terry Flanagan and Jose Zepeda for the WBO lightweight crown, Frank has put together a sparkling under-card on a show entitle TURBO

The chief support will see the middleweight Billy Joe Saunders face an, as yet, unnamed opponent as he prepares to take on the WBO world title holder Andy Lee later this year.

The show will also feature Liam Walsh defending his British and Commonwealth super-featherweight titles against Troy James, his mandatory challenger.

On the comeback trail that night will also be Paul Butler, as he looks to move towards a world title fight, at super-flyweight, after losing his BF world bantamweight belt.

Making a defence of his WBO intercontinental light-welterweight belt will be Jack Catterall.

Speaking about the show, Frank Warren has remarked to the media,

‘I’m delighted to return to Manchester with this fantastic summer show featuring some of the best talent in British boxing.

‘I’ve delivered Terry his world title shot on home soil, he’s now got all the home advantages, and he has to translate that in the ring and beat Zepeda, who will certainly give Terry plenty to think about with that huge knockout punch he carries.

‘Saunders is hot on the heels of a showdown with Andy Lee for the WBO World title next so he’ll be looking to be at his best. For Paul this is his comeback on the big stage and he’s going to want to show that he means business second time around.

‘Liam is one of the most exciting fighters in the country and he’s approaching world class so he’ll be looking for another great showing. I’m really excited with Jack’s development and he could be the next Ricky Hatton as he brings excitement every time he fights.’

It promises to be a great night of boxing and I can?t wait.
