Earlier in the week, Tyson Fury announced that his long-awaited return to the ring will take place, in Manchester, on 9th June.
Fury, keen to recapture his former glory, will be promoted by Frank Warren.
The promoter, talking to the media about his new charge, had this to say,
?It has been a long journey, he has been through trials and tribulations.
?He is already in magnificent condition but he still has a while to go.
?Tyson will need to get the ring rust out with a couple of fights, although people might think he can go straight back in for a world title.
?And he will challenge for titles only when he is 100 per cent mentally and physically ready.
?He is three or four fights away so he will be busy.
?Tyson is fit but he needs to be fighting fit.
?There is no time schedule, it will happen.
?It will all be on Tyson?s agenda.?
It will be interesting to see who Tyson Fury fights as he, hopefully, heads towards a showdown with the big-guns of the heavyweight division.
