With the WBA having decreed that Carl Froch must defend his belt against Andre Ward, there appears to have been very little in the way of negotiations going on.

Of course I may be wide of the mark and, knowing my luck, a deal could be about to be announced imminently.

But, with the verbal taunting still in its infancy, Andre Ward has stepped forward to suggest he would be willing to come to the United Kingdom but with certain conditions in place.

Ward, talking about meeting Froch in the UK, knowing he already holds a win over the Nottingham fight, remarked,

‘I’m not willing to come to Nottingham, I don’t think I should have to, but Wembley stadium, the UK as a whole – I would love to come.?

With Froch currently recovering from an injury and pontificating about taking a new career in acting, will he take the challenge and fight Andre Ward again knowing the American has been out of action for a considerable time?
