After ten months out of the ring, courtesy of those two postponements down to injuries David Haye picked up, Tyson Fury returned to the ring last night at the Copper Box Arena.

Taking on the American, Joey Abell, Tyson delivered an emphatic performance stopping his opponent in round four.

Coming in to the ring at his heaviest weight ever, over nineteen stone, Tyson was caught by several clubbing left handers in the first round but soon used his height and reach advantage to cause Abell problems.

Tyson had his opponent on the canvas four times before the referee, Jeff Hinds, stopped the fight after one minute and thirty-six seconds of the fourth round.

The victory keeps Tyson on course for a final world title eliminator against Dereck Chisora but in his post-fight interview Tyson was his usual modest self (not) proclaiming,

?I?m fighting again in April, then I will take on Chisora ? and that will mean Klitschko must finally face me.?

?I want Wladimir ? but he?s hiding from me. Let?s get it on Wlad, stop being a p***y.?

?Whoever I fight next, it will be a walk in the park for me.?

?I feel good, I was just playing games. I was trying a few things out in there. Abell is not on my level ? I?m the best heavyweight out there.?

That Tyson is what, in the next twelve months, we will find out!
