With the British Boxing Board of Control meeting on 12th October and with one of the items on the agenda being Tyson Fury, it?s suspected the world heavyweight champion, on the back of his drug-taking admission, will be stripped of his boxing licence.

If that is the case then with Tyson Fury being unable to box there is every indication that his status as a world heavyweight champion will come to an end.

Talking to BBC Sport, it seems that Team Fury are aware of what could be in the pipe-line and are taking steps to smooth the path.

The insinuation given by Peter Fury is that the WBA and WBO world heavyweight title belts Tyson holds will be relinquished, thereby not allowing the organisations the chance to strip him of the belts he won so admirably against Wladimir Klitschko.

But when it comes to returning to the ring, Peter Fury has indicated it could be next year, with his uncle and trainer remarking,

‘I see him being back in the gym in March or April. He’ll resume his career.?

But the first thing Team Fury have to sort out are those mental health issues that are blighting Tyson?s life. It will be a hard battle but one they can win given the right support.
