Yes, another attribute he?s willing to show!
Fresh from his sensational win in Dusseldorf last weekend, whereby the perfect execution of a game-plan saw him dethrone the decade long champion Wladimir Klitschko, Tyson Fury was in Carshalton last night at Mick Hennessey?s promotion.
The promotion gave Tyson Fury the chance to offer some support to his cousin Hughie as he continued his quest to become a heavyweight champion.
In what has been a difficult week for Tyson, with the media seemingly hounding him over comments he?s made about homosexuality and women, Tyson was forced to interrupt a ring interview to try and defuse a difficult situation that saw fighting break out in the audience at Carshalton.
Grabbing the microphone Tyson bellowed,
?Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,.
?Leave all the boxing to me. Have a couple of drinks, but calm down, calm down. This is a boxing event, not a bare knuckle fighting competition.?
Wise words some might say.
However, as his first week as the new champion of the world drew to a close, a campaign is fast gathering pace to have Tyson Fury?s name removed, due to his outspoken words previously mentioned, from the candidates list for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award.
Apparently circa 50,000 people have put their names to a petition deeming Tyson an inappropriate role model.
Personally I hope he tells them to stuff the award and that he?ll carry on as he chooses to, for me it makes a pleasant change to have someone brash and outspoken on the scene and if people don?t like it, then tough!
Tyson Fury the Peacemaker!
