Is it really the end of the road for the big man?

Haven?t we been down this road a couple of times already?

Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday), Tyson Fury posted on the social media network site, Instagram, a message that suggests, as many feared, we?ll not see the former heavyweight champion of the world in fighting action again.

Tyson, posted,

?Been very blessed in my life and career achieve the utmost in boxing, was an epic journey.

?Thanks to all the fans that supported and believed in me. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.?

With the message finishing with the two words.

Tyson has, already this year, spoken about making a comeback but having put on so much weight and being troubled by the fact he?s lost his boxing license with it not looking as if he?ll be getting it back any time soon, convinced him to, as they say, throw the towel in on a career that went all the way to the top?

If so, very few fighters can claim that they retired from the sport as the unbeaten heavyweight champion of the world and that their career finished with a fight that saw the dethroning of a ring legend in the form of Wladimir Klitschko.

Or is there another chapter to this book?
