It was only a matter of time wasn?t it?

Tyson Fury?s apparent obsession with using Twitter to vent his spleen was always going to see the unbeaten heavyweight fall foul of the authorities one way or another.

Quite often, Tyson?s tweets have bordered on the edge of decency and now it would appear that one particularly vitriolic barrage has seen Tyson fall foul of the British Boxing Board of Control.

It seems that the BBDofC are not too impressed with comments Fury made about Lennox Lewis, David Haye and the Klitschko brothers and now faces disciplinary action with the BBBofC general secretary, Robert Smith, remarking,

‘We’re not very happy about it,’

‘We’ll deal with it in our normal way.’

Which, would seem to indicate, to us, that Fury will have to dig deep into his pockets as a punishment!

Here in the Vital Boxing editorial chair I can only despair at Tyson?s antics and I just wish he?d keep his thoughts to himself and let his fists do the talking in the ring. A little trash talk is fine but the level to which Tyson takes it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth!
