For a couple of weeks now the intimation had been there that Tyson Fury would be boxing on the Frank Warren promotion at the Copper Box Arena on 15th February.

The admission, from the Fury camp, that Tyson had been offered a three fight deal, probably culminating in another clash with the current EBU champion Dereck Chisora, seemed to indicate this was Fury?s way back into the heavyweight picture.

Having been side-lined for a considerable period, courtesy of two fights against the former world champion, David Haye, falling through due to Haye being injured, it?s perhaps realistic to accept that Fury will be eased back into action against an opponent that might not raise many eyebrows.

That has proven to be exactly the case with it being announced today that Fury, with a record of 21-0 with 15 by way of knockout, will go head-t-head with the 39 year-old Argentine Gonzalo Omar Basile who has a record of 61-8 with 28 knockouts to his name.

Here at Vital Boxing we expect Tyson to win quite comfortably but we?ll also be looking for far stiffer opposition next time out.
