Although the majority of eyes are focussing on the heavyweight trio of Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, with everybody wondering whether we will, eventually, see a unified heavyweight champion holding all four of the most recognised belts, lurking in the background is a fourth heavyweight who perceives he has a role to play on the heavyweight scene.

It seems an absolute age since Tyson Fury, in Dusseldorf, relieved Waldimir Klitschko of his belts with a masterful display of boxing, but a comeback for the big-man appears to be very much on the cards.

Tyson has been working feverishly behind the scenes, shedding the excess weight he put on during his period of prolonged activity and is almost ready to make that ring-walk so many of his fans are waiting for.

Now 27-years-of-age, Tyson continues to be the one heavyweight that carries the most intrigue about him and, yesterday, he teased us all again with a few remarks that appear to indicate a comeback is now closer than ever, with Tyson quoted as having remarked, to Sky Sports,

?I?ve had some good news and want to announce it to the world?.but I can?t.

?Watch this space. I said I?m coming back this year, and I will. I could probably fight this weekend.

?I?ve lifted a few weights and told them I want to get some baby oil on ? shining, glistening, looking the part.?

The biggest question we, here at Vital Boxing, would like answering is when, where and against who, Tyson will be making that long-awaited comeback.

Tyson Fury remains the master of intrigue, he?s just so good at it is he not!
