With his Tenerife stabbing nightmare behind him it looks as if Kell Brook wants to keep busy this summer.
After beating Jo Jo Dan, in Sheffield last Saturday evening, Brook is looking to have two more world title fights before the end of the summer.
Although the verbal attacks would seem to indicate that Brook wants a showdown with Amir Khan, something doesn?t quite tie-up.
Brook, 28, speaking about his plans has remarked,
?The leg felt great, so I want to box as soon as possible.
?I?ve kept the fans waiting too long ? I don?t want that to happen again.
?I want to fight twice before the end of the summer, starting at the end of May.?
In reply Eddie Hearn, his promoter, has also commented,
?We were planning for July but we could bring Kell back in May.
?It?s been a frustrating period for him but there is no stopping him now.?
All I?ll say is that I?m looking forward to watching Kell Brook in action but what happened to the merry month of June which Brook and Hearn have been pontificating on about since Jo Jo Dan was demolished in four rounds?
