Out of action after having had surgery on his shoulder, an operation that caused him to miss a showdown with Tyson Fury, all the talk is that David Haye is looking towards a ring return.

Haye, with a record that reads 26-2 with 24 by way of knockout, is, at 33 years of age, keen to get back in amongst the big-boys of the heavyweight division.

To do that Haye will need to get a couple of quick fights under his belt and the talk is that Haye wants to fight twice before the end of 2014, a tall task considering that there are only five months of the year left.

It?s also suggested that Haye is looking to target the IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, although to be granted such a fight might need a few favours calling in considering Haye inactivity has seen him slip down the rankings and there also appears to be a queue of contenders looking to take the Ukrainian on.

It?s an interesting proposition and it?ll be interesting to see how Haye?s career goes and whether he manages to get it back on track at all.
