But against who!
Following his latest demolition, this time in Carson City, whereby Gennady Golovkin saw off his latest opponent in some style, making it 31-0 with 28 by way of knockout, it appears that the triple G machine will be fighting in Europe next time out.
A February fight is being touted by Tom Loeffler of K2 promotions. Although it had been suggested that the WBA super-middleweight champion would fight four times this year it appears his promotional team, despite the quick finishes, have decided that three fights is enough for 2013.
However, it is now being suggested that Golovkin will fight four times next year with the first of these fights being in February, possibly in Monte Carlo. However, this could change if Julio Cesar Chavez Junior can be tempted into a fight which means that Golovkin would remain Stateside for his next fight.
But it appears the chances of this happening are not too great and that the Monte Carlo option remains the more viable one with Martin Murray, quite possibly, the opponent.
