The under-card at the Principality Stadium where Anthony Joshua successfully defended his WBA, IBF and IBO world titles against Carlos Takem, three former British Olympians were featured.

Looking to make progress in the professional ranks Josh Buatsi, Lawrence Okolie and Joe Cordina all extended their unbeaten records.

Buatsi was matched against Saidou Sall and had to go the distance, despite knocking his opponent down in the sixth and final round, to take the verdict 60-54 on points, winning every round.

Okolie was facing Adam Williams and had too much power for his opponent with a right-hand clinching the victory in the third-round with Williams deemed unable to continue.

Cordina was matched against the Spanish fighter Lesther Cantillano, in a four-round fight and took the decision 40-35 on points.

Our congratulations go to all three.
