The word on the street is that Floyd Mayweather Junior is looking at wrapping up what has been a very lucrative boxing career.
A respected figure, in the sport, ESPN?s Dan Rafael, is, via a social network site, spreading the word that Mayweather will fight this Saturday (against Marcos Maidana), he?ll then fight again next May before wrapping up a career that has spanned nineteen years next September.
Now, apart from Maidana, there are no indications as to who the last two opponents will be but if Mayweather Junior is looking for an exit on the grandest of scales could we be looking at a headlining bout, in London, at Wembley Stadium, a venue that Floyd has, recently said, inspires him in the aftermath of the Froch v Groves II bout?
Stranger things have happened!
