Speculation is mounting with regards to the next opponent for Tyson Fury.

With two fights against David Haye having fallen by the wayside, due to injuries, Fury needs to get back into action.

One possible interesting match-up could see Fury paired with Tony Thompson, someone who is very familiar to British fight-fans having stopped David Price twice last year.

Thompson, ranked at #8 by the IBF and with a record of 38-4, with 26 via way of knockout, wants to face Fury so bad that he?s, once again, prepared to come to the United Kingdom to face his man.

The question remains is it a fight that Fury, with a record of 21-0 with 15 via knockout and ranked at #6 by the WBO, is prepared to jump straight back in against Thompson or whether he?d fancy a warm-up first.

It?ll be interesting to see.
