On Saturday night, in Monte Carlo, we got our first good look at the Cuban heavyweight Luis ?King Kong? Ortiz.

Ahead of the fight the 37-year-old had demolished all before him, knocking out 22 of his 25 opponents.

It was touted that he was the heavyweight nobody wanted to face.

Now, after a plodding victory over Scott Malik, it seems everybody fancies a shot at Ortiz when he fights on the undercard of the Anthony Joshua v Eric Molina IBF world heavyweight fight.

The latest to offer his services and stand in the opposing corner to Ortiz is the British heavyweight David Allen.

Allen has had a mere eleven fights with his record looking as thus: 9-1-1 with 6 wins coming by way of knockout.

Now whether Allen will get his wish we?ll have to wait and see but, personally, I?d prefer Ortiz to face someone like David Price.

Price wanted to fight Joshua so why not settle for second best and fight on the under-card, show Joshua and Hearn what he is capable of and force through a fight against Joshua.
