Having built up a great start to his professional career, knocking out all ten of his opponents in double-quick time, it?s perhaps normal that Anthony Joshua is the target for other heavyweights who believe the can be the first to beat him.
Over the weekend 42 year-old Audley Harrison, supposedly on the comeback trail again, expressed a desire to get in the ring with Joshua, a desire we?re seriously hoping is given the little respect it deserves.
But now we have a classy American, a fighter who has tread the boards with Wladimir Klitschko in a world heavyweight title fight, is shouting his mouth off trying to get a fight with our young hope.
Eddie Chambers, who has a record that reads 41-4 with 22 of his wins coming by way of knockout is so confident he could do a job on Joshua he reckons he wrap one of his arms around his back and still beat him with Chambers remarking on the social network site Twitter,
?If I fight @anthonyfjoshua I would wrap 1 arm behind my back & still beat him. That?s how confident I am!.. #Skills,?
If the two were to fight, it?d be interesting to see if Chambers could last past the first four or five round mark, if he could, he could get lucky with one of his punches and catch a tiring Joshua, but it?s all what if syndrome if you ask me.
The reports from the gym suggest Joshua has it all and perhaps stopping Chambers would open a few more eyes in the US as to what British heavyweight boxing has unearthed.
They’re Lining Up for Joshua!
