Since Tyson Fury burst on to the scene we?ve become used to the outbursts from the undefeated heavyweight.

Although some of his verbal assaults do get too near the mark, some do add to the sparkle of the occasion.

However, it seems that another of the Fury clan is also keen to get in the odd verbal assault as well.

On the undercard of the DeGale fight, in Bluwater, a certainHughie Fury, with a convincing win, took his record to 5 wins from 5 fights with 4 knockouts.

But following his latest victory, Hughie, a cousin of Tyson, boast on Channel 5 that,

?I will do it. I will beat Mike Tyson?s record. I?ll be the youngest heavyweight world champion.?

At a mere 18 years of age some may say that Hughie has time on his side, others may infer that it?s all balderdash and he?s out to get himself noticed.

Now young Hughie may be an exceptional talent, he may well go on to achieve great success but I, along with numerous others, believe he needs to change the caliber of opponent stood in front of him.

His opponent on Saturday, the listless Ladislav Kovarik had won 10 out of 25 having only stopped five of his opponents. This Saturday Hughie is set to meet Tomas Mrazek who has the appalling record of from 47 fights achieving 7 wins and losing 40, hardly the sort of record to strike fear into the heart of an up and coming heavyweight.

Now I?m not suggesting that Hughie is thrown straight into a contest with the likes of Dereck Chisora or David Price but if he is to make any in-roads into beating Tyson?s record then he just has to be matched against better, classier and hungrier opposition, how about cousin Tyson someway down the line?
