As the hours tick done and the re-match between Carl Froch and George Groves draws ever nearer, both fighters will be going through their pre-fight rituals to ensure they reach the ring in prime shape.

Yesterday saw the weigh-in take place, at Wembley Arena, where over 4,000 turned up to make it a very atmospheric occasion.

Both fighters made the weight comfortably and when they were called together for a head-to-head, various comments were exchanged.

Once pulled apart both fighters had words for the journalists with Froch somewhat scowling about Groves,

?I want to send him back to the hole he has crawled out of and put this saga behind me.?

?He looks a worried man and I want to get him out of there. It will be conclusive.?

Groves meanwhile, looking completely unfazed, replied in relation to remarks Froch had made to him about him supposedly struggling to make the weight and looking dehydrated with Groves commenting,

?I have done the weight comfortably.?

?I feel perfect, mind, body and soul, I am in the place, in the zone. I couldn?t be more ready.?

Come the sound of the first bell, we might just find out who is going to emerge victorious and this amateur boxing hack can?t wait!
