On Saturday night it was great to see one of the legendary figures of British boxing sat ringside at the O2 Arena in London.

Not that long ago Frank Bruno was brave enough to admit that he?d been seconded two more times in the last eighteen months as he continues to fight his medical problems.

Bruno has faced his demons head on and has actively campaigned to get those troubled with mental problems better care, even choosing to appear at the recent Lib-Dems Political Party Conference.

Bruno?s out of the ring struggle is one that, here at Vital Boxing, we sincerely hope he wins, but after the fight perhaps Anthony Joshua summed up just how highly regarded Frank Bruno is held by the British public with Joshua commenting about the big-mans? presence,

?The People?s champion. Maybe I could be a poster boy one day for British boxing.?

And when you are Anthony I?m sure Frank will applaud you whole-heartedly as you carry the flag he once carried so proudly!
