All week long there have been mutterings coming from within the Tyson Fury camp that there was a problem with the gloves Tyson had been provided to wear for the huge showdown.

On sparring with them on Tyson was of the opinion they didn?t suit him and every time he threw a punch he felt his thumb was going to dislocate.

The mutterings, growing in intensity, suggested that if Tyson wasn?t given a pair of gloves he fund agreeable, there would be no world title fight this Saturday.

However it seems that the row has been resolved with the Tyson camp being guaranteed that the gloves he wanted to wear have been manufactured by Paffen and will arrive in time for the bout.

The fight promoter, Bernd Bonte, has clarified matters by remarking to the media,

?I spoke to the CEO of Patten and the gloves will be there on Friday ? definitely.

?They have already been shipped.?

However, Bonte wasn?t happy with the time lapse between the original gloves being given to the Tyson Fury camp and the complaint they were no right with Bonte remarking the CEO of Paffen had told him,

?He told me it was eight weeks before Team Fury came back to him with their problem. If they had even done it after two weeks, it would have been much easier. This is what happens when you deal with amateurs.?

Ouch! Looks like the claws are out, but at least the problem has been sorted.
