Earlier this week we were wondering why, with a big fight coming up, Tyson Fury was so quiet.

The inference had been given that we were witnessing a change in character and the introduction of a Tyson Fury charm offensive.

But now I?m not quite so sure.

It seems that in the last few days leading up to the fight, Tyson has let slip why there has been so few vociferous outbursts heading in the direction of his opponent, the German based Romanian Christian Hammer, with the unbeaten British heavyweight remarking,

?I?m calm because you can?t have pre-fight aggression against someone who doesn?t speak English.

?He is a bum. If I can?t beat him I may as well pack up.?

Now that last line is the real Tyson Fury is it not?

Once he gets past Hammer, at the O2 Arena on Saturday night, and with Wladimir Kitschko (hopefully) next up, we can expect some real verbal fireworks I reckon!
